About

Sophia, spray tan artist in Paris

I'm Sophia, founder of ambree Paris and a spray tan artist based in Paris. I'm fully mobile, and I regularly see clients in Paris hotels and palaces. I come to you, whether that's a hotel suite, an apartment or a backstage area, for Fashion Week, photo shoots, events and private bookings. Sessions in English or French.

Services

What I offer

Events & brand activations
An on-site spray tan station for your guests at wellness events, launches and private parties.
Red carpets, Fashion Week & photo shoots
A session one to three days before, so your colour has fully developed in time. For models and shoots, a shade chosen for how it looks on camera.
Private bookings
In your hotel room, suite or apartment, wherever you're staying in Paris.
Bachelorette & group sessions
A few friends, one suite: everyone gets her own shade, one after the other.
How it works

At your hotel

I bring everything with me, including a pop-up tent that keeps the room protected. Tell me what you have in mind, we choose your shade together, and I take care of the rest.

Afterwards, keep the solution on for 6 to 8 hours before your first shower, and wear something loose and dark in the meantime. The colour develops fully over the next 24 hours and, with daily moisturising, lasts 7 to 10 days.

Fashion Week

Getting the timing right

Book the day before your first show at the latest. Two to three days before is even better: the colour has time to settle into your skin and looks more natural on camera. One session covers a whole Fashion Week, so there's no need to come back mid-week.

For shoots, tell me about the lighting and the look you're after, and I'll adjust the depth so it reads well on camera.

Expertise

Custom shades, from fair to deep

Every shade is customised to your skin. I assess your skin tone, then adjust the colour and depth to your liking. If you're not sure what you want, I'll suggest a shade that suits you.

Vegan formulas with naturally derived DHA.

FAQ

Before you book

When should I book before an event?

The day before at the latest. The colour takes 24 hours to fully develop, so a session the day before means your tan is ready for the red carpet, the runway or the shoot.

Can I book at short notice?

Yes. You can book in the morning for a session later the same day, depending on availability. Just keep in mind that the result is visible 24 hours after the session.

Do you come to hotels?

Yes, anywhere in Paris. I bring a pop-up tent and all the equipment, so the room stays protected, and everything is cleared away afterwards.

How should I prepare?

Exfoliate the day before. On the day, skip moisturiser, oil and deodorant, and wear something loose and dark afterwards.

How long does a spray tan last?

7 to 10 days, longer with daily moisturising. Avoid scrubs and long baths while your tan is on.

Is a spray tan the same as an airbrush tan?

Yes, in practice the two terms are used for the same thing: a tanning solution sprayed on by hand by a technician, for an even, natural result.
